   Professional vacuum equipment is connected to the system as appropriate to establish negative pressure and collect loosened material.

   Depending on the property and access requirements, Duct Care can use:

   • Truck-Mounted Vacuum Equipment — Commonly used for residential houses where suitable access is available.
   • Professional Portable Vacuum Equipment — Available for properties where truck-mounted access is impractical, including condominiums, apartments, high-rise buildings and applicable commercial environments.

   The appropriate professional equipment is selected according to the property, HVAC configuration and access requirements.

   Clean Supply Registers & Branch Ductwork

   Supply registers and accessible branch ductwork are cleaned using professional compressed-air and agitation equipment appropriate to the system.

   Mechanical Agitation of Main Supply Ductwork

   Accumulated material is mechanically dislodged using professional agitation equipment selected according to the ductwork.

   Equipment may include:

   • Snake agitation systems
   • Duct-cleaning brushes
   • Predator Whip
   • Scorpion spinning-ball system
   • Air whips
   • Scraping / agitation tools
   • Compressed-air cleaning tools

   Loosened material is directed toward the collection system for removal.

   Clean the Return-Air System

   After completing the supply side, the cleaning process is repeated on the accessible return-air system.

   Depending on the home’s construction, this can include:

   • Return grilles
   • Return branch ductwork
   • Main return ductwork
   • Joist lines
   • J-channel
   • Jumper boxes / jumper ducts

   Additional HVAC Components When Selected

   Depending on the package purchased, additional services may include:

   • Furnace blower and compartment cleaning
   • AC coil cleaning
   • HRV / ERV cleaning
   • Other related HVAC cleaning

   These services are not automatically included in every duct-cleaning package. They are performed only when specified in the selected service or quote.

   Airflow Adjustment When Appropriate

   Where accessible dampers are present and adjustment is appropriate, airflow balancing may be performed as part of the applicable service.

   Optional Duct Sanitizing

   When selected and appropriate, Duct Care can apply Benefect using professional fogging equipment.

   Sanitizing is an additional procedure and is not a substitute for physical source removal.

    Final Inspection & Sealing

    Following cleaning, accessible work areas are reviewed and service openings created for the cleaning process are properly sealed.

    Live Camera verification may also be used where applicable.
